Two on Tuesday: Is Fall Almost Here?

Happy Tuesday!  I am linking up quickly this morning with Andrea over at My Chihuahua Bites (thank you Andrea for teaching me how to spell Chihuahua without looking!) for Two On Tuesday.  I needed a little something to talk about today, so why not?

Andrea wants to know : What are your 2 favorite things about Fall?

Cooler Temperatures.

Ah, who am I kidding?  I live in Texas - the high was in the hundreds this weekend and we won't get down into the 70s until November probably......

I can dream about cooler temperatures and the beautiful change of the colors of the leaves that other areas of the country get to enjoy.

So, what about here in Texas?  We like to pretend it's Fall by decorating in fall colors, dressing in jeans (even though it's still 90 degrees) and sipping on Pumpkin Spice Lattes.  Which brings me to my first favorite thing about Fall:

Pumpkin Spice.  In a Starbucks latte, in my Keurig Coffee Maker, in a pie..... I just love the smell and taste of pumpkin spice.  That is Fall to me.  Speaking of, I'm enjoying a cup of Pumpkin Spice Coffee right now.  Never too early to start.....

And Soccer starts.  I love watching my kids play soccer.  They take a brief break during the summer and start back up in August.  Fall means the start of games and there is nothing I enjoy more than watching my kiddos play.  This year they are in a Soccer Club and it will be exciting to see the competition raised a notch, travel for the games, and see their dedication get heightened.  They love playing and I love watching them.

Fun!!  Link up and tell us your 2 favorite things about fall.  Thanks for hosting Andrea!

THANK YOU for linking up! Love you, friend!

I just found out today that Keurig has pumpkin spice cups. Where have I been?! Where do you buy yours?

I can't wait for cooler temps as well. It was in the 90s this weekend and awful humidity. I swear I barely step outside because it is just too hot. Poor Cooper probably doesn't remember what it is like to play outside at this point.

Pumpkin Spice for my Keurig! Oh that sounds exciting!

Love fall but we have to fake it to make it here too. That's ok, it's much better than what come after the real Fall!

I am praying you all get some rain soon! I've been hearing about the wild fires popping up. Hope you and your family staying safe!

Those cooler temperatures are right around the corner! You and Andrea are making me want some pumpkin spice lattes. I think I will try some this year.

Visiting over from 2 on Tuesdays!

Hi! Stopping by from 2oT.
I love the cooler temps and well. And I'm a HUGE soccer fan. Used to play before my mommy days. :)

Happy 2 on Tuesday!

It was 100F here in central IL on Friday and Saturday and then Sunday only 78F or so. When I woke up this morning, it was 48F. It was amazing!

You are so right about needing to decorate for Fall in order for it to "FEEL" like fall!! We got a little relief this week here in West Texas! Hoping it's the start of some cooler weather! This Summer has been brutal!

I kid you not, this is the 4th post about Pumpkin Spice Latte from starbucks...even though yours was made at home! =) It sounds AMAZINGLY yummy but I bet it still tastes like that nasty stuff you call COFFEE. EW!

Haha...I love your description of how you like to "pretend" it's fall!

I love fall soccer too! My Cowgirl has gotten to be quite the little player. The other kids aren't as into it, so she's our only soccer star this season - but we sure do love watching!

I had my FIRST pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks just last year.

I get to wear jeans today.
