On the last day of 2009, we decided to have a fun family day and our middle son asked if we could go bowling? Sure. I'm the first to admit that I am awful at bowling- I can never choose the right ball or what arrow on the floor to look at when throwing the ball.... so I typically go into it to have fun. And fun was what we had:

Can you see it??? It's my proof of the first game I ever won at bowling!!! Now if you ask Matt he'll try to make a bunch of excuses......like the bumpers were on for the kids......I say a wins a win!!!

My DH and I always race to the phone when it rings. I have no idea what the big attraction is, but once I hear it, I just can't stand there.
He usually wins. Not because he's there first, but because he's stronger than me. So when I DO win, it's a sweet victory indeed.
I say bumpers or not, yours is a win. The scoreboard, it does not lie.
How fun! I love to bowl, my husband -- not so much! Great thing to do as a family!

My husband has 2 balls! Wait, that sounded wrong, huh? He has 2 custom balls...? Is that better? No? Okay, well you know what I mean, right?
Anyway, I was looking at the scores and I have to say, both of your kids would beat me at bowling. I think the highest I ever got was 67 or something.
My favorite part of this story is that you both have Chuy's phone number in your iphones. Do you guys really go that often?

That's so funny! We had a family day of bowling before my husband went back to work too. I won too! Our scores were pitiful though...so pitiful that I won't even tell you my winning score! :)
