Last week, my Bubba was called a "she" 3 times within a 2 hour period. And he was wearing the cute cowboy tee below. He has the most gorgeous blond hair that curls when it is humid out. Unfortunately, with the dry, cold weather, it tends to go straight and look extremely messy. Sissy had the same hair ~ she had beautiful curls that lasted until her first haircut.....and then they all disappeared.
I think it is precious and don't want scissors anywhere near his adorable little head.
Hubby is so done hinting that he needs a haircut and has threatened to cut it this week.

Oh my! That last picture is hilarious! Gus has already had like 4 haircuts because he had so much hair. I would cut it but I like short hair and I don't blame you for wanting to prolong the last first haircut!!
What cute pictures!!! I never let my son's hair get that long. He had haircuts starting at a year. (But he didn't have curls like that either!)
hmm not sure.. if it helps any Sammy's has gotten curlier after getting it cut. However, Tim and I both have very curly hair!
William had beautiful curls like that, but they were mostly in the back - seems like all my kids didn't have much hair in the front for a long time - so I was able to let it go for a while. Bubba's hair seems to be long all over :) If the 'girl' comments bother you (and why people can't get a CLUE from the clothes they wear!) then maybe it's time? Only you can tell :) He'll look like a little man after that first cut :) So cute!
BTW - growing up in the 70's I had Dorothy Hammel hair & this old fart at church used to call me "son" all the time - drove me CRAZY! Blind old guy obviously couldn't see my earrings :)
As much as I love his crazy curls I'm on your hubbys side. I think it may be time but Jen is right he's gonna look like such a little man!

Thankfully I don't have to make this decision, I've got 3 girls so I can let it grow as long as I want. I looove little boys with curls, I totally wouldn't want to cut it either. Well that is until he gets closer to 3 maybe, before that though keep it for as long as you can :)

I love those curls! So cute! But my hubby would be the same way. I don't know, we don't have to do the haircut thing often around here in a house full of girls ;)
Well...I'm partial to short haircuts for boys, BUT..he's so STINKIN CUTE..what do you do? LOL
AWE, I had the hardest time cutting Isaiah's adorable blonde locks the first time! I waiting until he was like a year and a half. Finally, Michael said it was time! He was like Ian, always being mistaken for a girl. It was hard. I sometimes still wish he had his longer "baby" hair. The shorter haircuts make them look so big!
