Sis's school had her annual Science Fair this past week. She decided to see how well we can taste things with our nose plugged. She blindfolded us and made us plug our nose to see if we could taste the flavors of several different puddings. Even Dad (who is so NOT a fan of pudding) helped out:
I know - enough pics of my hubby - they just make me giggle...
And here's that Bubba boy on his magic car - I kid you not - his favorite thing to play with...
Ya-Ya & Lovey have had avery long relationship. They have been friends for over 9 years. Had many sleepovers together, been dragged all over the country and still manage to see each other a few times a year.
Possibly because these 2 sweet girls are such best friends - Ya-Ya & Lovey will always be close by.
Movin' On.....
Awards at school.....even if every kid is given an award I am still a proud momma bear.
Sissy came home with a Second place ribbon from the Science Fair - It was a great accomplishment - I (yes, I said I) worked hard to not interfere with her project - I let her do everything and it turned out beautifully.
I was proud of my girl and it once again showed me how quickly she is growing up.....
***Sigh***
Maybe there is too much stuff in my potpourri for me to keep up with..... Last night Brody told me he wanted to invent a machine to "freeze everything but the family" so we could go to Disney World and not have to wait in any lines. Hmmmm.....maybe he is on to something...can we freeze time so my babies won't grow up???
Yeah, I know - quit whining - Life is like this - a fast-paced, crazy-fun-and-then-your-done season of life called parenthood. Soak up every moment of it. Every moment.....

Well, since I'm a former Science teacher, I say YAAAY for 2nd place! And good for you for not doing the whole project for her. =)
Let me know if you find some freeze stuff. I have a little girl that is growing up way too quickly for my liking. Kthanks.
Ha! Tell Brody that he should probably make sure that his machine doesn't freeze the Disney employees and ride operators.... :)
Congrats to Sissy for her hard work!
(And to you for letting her do it.)
Sissy's bear is making me cry!! WAAAA!
AWesome job on the science fair! I really want to go to one and see all of the cool experiments.
Tell Brody that I will loan him my MIL to take to Disney. She uses a wheel chair when going on big trips like that and then our family get to jump the line.
Great project...I love the title The Nose Knows...ha, ha. Best friends...what a treasure! That Bubba looks so big and handsome with his new haircut...I love it.
What a fun project & YAY for 2nd place! I'm with you on the freeze machine. Thank goodness for blogging so that I remember to jot it all down. I loved your last paragraph... perfectly said!!!
I'm so glad the science fair is over! YUCK, so not my thing!
I'm also glad you mentioned awards, I have a ceremony of my own to attend tomorrow morning at the crack o' butt!
We have blankets here, both girls still have 'em. I'm sure they'll be tucked away in their wedding truso!
I LOVE science fairs!! I can't wait until Isaiah is doing SF projects! The pics are great, as always! You've got such great kiddos!
