Cool idea. Wow. We would have to leave a good 45 minutes to an hour before school started. How long did it take you guys to walk 2 miles? Reminds me of my grandma's stories about walking "up hill, both ways...with a foot of snow..." LOL :)

oo very fun!! How long did that take? Our schools are all pretty far away.

Isn't it funny that I will walk/run 2.5 miles on my treadmill, but drive my kid to school 5 blocks away.

Our school did this today too. Jamison wanted to participate but she goes to a sitter in the morning and they live pretty far from the school. I might have to take off for this next year because it is important. Way to go guys!!!

That is the coolest thing ever. We live about 8 miles from the school so not sure we would walk, but it sure is a great idea.

Very very cool. We live about a mile from the public elementary school, but there's not much walking required to get to our "school" ;)

This is such a neat idea! We're only about 2 miles from the school but we didn't participate this year :( Since my hubby is responsible for school drop off while I'm recovering, we're lucky if Noah gets to school on time with the car! They never would have made it in time if they participated, ha! What a fun experience for your kids though :)
