Ya'll are so lucky. Seriously- I have seen so many great authentic Pumpkin Patches around the country over the past few days and I am jealous!! Here in Texas, we pile a bunch of pumpkins together in a parking lot and call it a "patch"!
Ok, it's not that bad, but it's certainly not on a farm with rolling hills and beautifully colored trees in the background. I managed to find a local nursery that was having a fall festival on Saturday, so I piled the kids up and off we went. So the visit is more for mom to get the obligatory fall pictures of the kids, but you'll see in the following pictures that the kids had fun!
Happy Fall Ya'll
Texas Style!

Love the skull!
No pumpkin patches here wither. IF we get pumpkins this year they cannot be carved until Halloween day, any earlier and we have pumpkin pie!
No matter if there are rolling hills on a farm or not it looks like a great trip to the Texas pumpkin patch. I loved the first photo. The gourd hunt was a super cool idea. The kiddos shirts are so cute. Matt did a great job on the pumpkins!
Fun Becca! I'm sorry that you guys are lacking in the pumpkin patch area. But you did a great job of making it fun. That's what counts. Nice pumpkins!
Your pictures are amazing! Looks like the kids had fun at the patch, and how cool are your pumpkins?! Love 'em!!!
You are too funny. I love the kids' shirts and their pictures are adorable. What amazing pumpkins too!
aww it still looks like you guys had a lot of fun! I love the pumpkins so cute!
It looks like Texas sports a pretty good pumpkin patch. Who is to say what a 'real' one should be like anywhoo! Love the pictures, not sure our pumpkins will turn out as nicely carved, but we will try =-)
Great pumpkins! Did Matt do that on his own without a pattern? I'm a pattern girl. :) You got some really good pics of the kids too.
Love the beautiful pictures! Love your pumpkins!!!
