What am I? I'm just the diaper-changer, toy-picker-upper, book-reader, stroller-pusher, massive-hugger...am I bitter that I get no love? of course.
His first word was "da-da". His second? Momma? Uh no, it was "pa-pa". Whom he does not see every single stinkin' day like he does his momma. He can say his brother & sister's names, choo-choo, outside, more...but Momma? He refuses.
Let's give him one more try:
This was a few weeks ago, before Christmas. We have tried and tried to get a 'momma" out of him. And he finally did it. When no one was around. of course.

But he is soooooo cute, you can let it go that he said Momma last, right? :) He's adorable. I miss those days and those family dinners where you sit around and are just purely entertained by your baby.
My dad would say that you were short changed. Caleb was watching this with me and said "when are we going to Ian's house?"
He's just saving the best for last that's all!
I just noticed the new side bar picture if Bubba. I love it!
oo what a stinker!! I am laughing with you :-)
I completely agree with Shawn. =)
I don't blame you for being bitter ;) Kam typically chooses to be with me, but she definitely has her "daddy" days, and I have to admit, I get a little jealous ;)
Oh, he's just so CUTE I could eat him up!!
He is SO CUTE! By the way, I totally cried when I saw the pics of his hair cut. I'm having issues with the fact that my son will be 1 next week and everything related to growing up makes me tear up.
I know how you feel. I'm just the woman WHO CARRIED YOU, Cooper, but Dad gets all the love and glory. It breaks me heart when I drop him at daycare and he trots off without a bye or backwards glance at me.
What a sweetie!
Don't feel bad - my daughter won't let me play polly pockets or Littlest Pet Shops with her. I don't do the voices right. She only lets her dad play.
That little stinker is messing with you!!
I love him!
All 3 of my girls are the same exact way. On the days that are tough & hubby comes home & they run to him, smile & play & are all sweet I just give him a dirty look and tell him I sure wished he was here an hour ago for the breakdown. I definitely need to get away once in a while, I think they are just sick of the 24/7 mommy that never leaves LOL.
Girl I am so with you. Lila is totally a mommies girl but she lights up for dad. We all joke that she will say his name first even though she can't stay at anyone's house without her mom. We have to love them, though!
