Spring Break is Almost Here!

Spring Break is Here! from Rebecca Darling on Vimeo.

Just a little fun I had over at Darling Memories this week.  I asked all my friends & family to send me pictures that evoked that perfect feeling of Spring in honor of Spring Break.  I thought it turned out awesome - Check it out - you might recognize a few friends.  And look for my favorite picture - the one of the ice cream sharing- see if you can figure out which one it is.

So it is in the high 70's and sunny here in Texas- Yee Haw!!!  And the weathermen are predicting nice weather for our Spring Break next week.  Last year, the kids and I went on a trek across Texas- we hit San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas.  We had so much fun at the San Antonio zoo, visiting a underground cavern, the Texas State Capitol, and going to an FC Dallas game.  How can we top that?

We have company coming to town this year, so we are thinking of doing some local stuff like climbing Enchanted Rock (a huge pink granite boulder that is 425 feet tall- I climbed this as a child!),  visiting the Dr. Pepper Museum, getting a tour of the Blue Bell Ice Cream factory (those who have followed my blog know my love for Blue Bell....), and possibly Sea World.  It is amazing how much there is to do within a 100 mile radius of our home!!  I am looking forward to it!

What ever your plans- traveling or having a stay-cation like us- I hope you have an incredible Spring Break!!!

Dr. Pepper Z& Blue Bell - two of my favorites!

I love the fact that we have spring break to adjust to this weekend's time change! I love when it is light later in the evenings, but it's sure hard to get up in the mornings!

Total Spring Fever -- I'm glad the weather will cooperate! The DP Museum is so much fun (although the last time I was there was for a college function, which is probably why I have such great memories of it!). Can't wait to see all your pics from the week!

I'm about to check out that video, can't wait! I'm starting to think Oregon is BO-ring! There are so many things to do elsewhere, and I can't come up with very many things to do here :( Have a blast during your stay-cation!!!

We're staying here this year (again!) but will try to do a nearby indoor water park & maybe a couple of other things. The big trip this year is our CRUISE in October -can.not.wait.

Oh, how I would love to go to the Dr. Pepper museum. I am a huge fan of DP but I have not had one since we found out that we were pregnant. Needless to say that is one of my first requests after delivery.
We are actually on spring break right now. We are heading out in the morning for a weekend full of racing in Arkansas. I look forward to no cooking, cleaning or laundry. Just lots of time with my boys and a good book.
Have a fabulous Wednesday!

If I didn't adore you, I'd really hate you...Blue Bell Factory? It's not enough that you get to eat it whenever you want..now you're going to Brenham?? :)

Just kidding...have fun!!!
