Darling Memories

************************************************************************************
2 Days.  That's it.  We went from sunny 75 degrees to blustery snowy 30s in 2 days.  Sunday to Tuesday.  And that my friends, is typical Texas weather.
We had an incredible Sunday- all of us were in shorts and t-shirts.  We spent the day outdoors - the baby loved the sun.

We took a bike ride- all 5 of us - with the baby around the neighborhood trails.
He loved it so much, he promptly fell asleep.

We also spent some time at the local park- just soaking it all in.

Cause we knew- we knew that the "big, bad, storm" was coming.
Did we believe it?
Nah. Our weathermen never seem to get it right.
Only this time they did:

We had the biggest, fluffiest, cotton-ball-like snowflakes falling all day.
This is the bus stop at 3pm- the kids were so excited to get off the bus!

Poor little Bubba Boy didn't know what to think about all of it though.

But the kids knew exactly what to do:

Don't you just love our shout-out to Illinois weather?

The sun & snow gave us similar reactions.....

That's what it looks like here today! The sun did peek out a little yesterday and that was nice. I'm just trying to sit and be patient while waiting for the nice weather. I love the writing of SNOW in the snow.

When I see those pictures, I see a family who knows how to have fun and enjoy being together regardless of the weather. So fun and such great memories! I have to agree I love the green coats!

That is just straight up crazy!

We're supposed to get another hard freeze tomorrow. I'm about over these temperatures in the 30's this is Florida after all!

It is so hard to switch back and forth with this weather. The baby wants to be outside every day and he just doesn't understand why we can't right now. We don't have snow but tonight it's a hard freeze for 9 hours in Florida!! Yuck! By the way you look nice in that vibrant green!!! :)

Isn't this weather crazy. We also had great weekend weather and no it is down right cold this week. But I have to say it isn't snowing so what a blessing.
I love the photo of your older kiddos and the snowman. Your daughter is a scream.
Hope you are having a fabulous day!

I am happy to see your kids properly dressed in gloves :) My niece in Shreveport was playing in their snow with socks on her hands, poor girl! Lol! Looks like a blast - I so want to put my bare feet in that water!

Chella-Bella's prayer life is always very active at the mention of snow -- "Oh God, please please please make it snow and let us miss school tomorrow..." :-)

Love the snowman! (And the green coat looks great with snow as a backdrop!)
